Spa Esthetician

Location: Saskatchewan, Canada

The Spa is a relaxing environment that provides the complete spa experience from our Vitality Facial to Therapeutic Massage performed by our Registered Massage Therapist.As an esthetician, you will provide services such as but not limited to manicures, pedicures and facials to guests on vacation and wedding parties!

Requirements:

  • Esthetician Diploma
  • Prior esthetician experience preferred
  • Computer skills are a strong asset
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Demonstrate initiative and able to work with minimal supervision

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide full esthetician services
  • Maintain cleanliness of spa and station
  • Keep up to date with current esthetician service trends
  • Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner
  • Collect payments for salon services performed
  • Take proper care of equipment and use appropriate amounts of product to assist with cost controls
  • Promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and Salacia Spa’s policies and procedures
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
  • Other duties as assigned

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

Location: Saskatchewan, Canada
The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a team environment with successful interpersonal and communication skills. The focus and desire is for the candidate to have a drive and passion for provide the best care and treatment for the patients this is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated and committed individual who is interested in taking an active role with in the spa.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have completed a minimum 2200 hour course from an accredited school of massage therapy and be a member with a RMT number with an accredited professional association.
  • Provide each guest with exceptional treatment/experience and high quality or service.
  • Have the ability to assess client needs. This needs to be accomplished with the utmost professionalism, consistent, efficient, and friendly manner.
  • An excellent communicator with guest and team members.

Executive Housekeeper

Location: Saskatchewan, Canada

Responsibilities: 

  • Reporting to the Director of Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Department Head role, leading a housekeeping team of 2 Assistant Managers, and 10-25 staff.
  • Creating systems and processes to organize the department (SOPs, Credit System, Inventory, Training Program, Physical Space)
  • Actively involved in the recruitment, interviewing, and on-boarding of new housekeeping staff
  • Overseeing the operational aspect of ensuring the overall cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas within the hotel and field units, consistently adhering to property policies and standards
  • Assist in handling guest feedback and follow through on action taken
  • Liaise with Front Office, Maintenance and other related departments to coordinate guest service and resolve emerging issues promptly
  • Ensure high morale and productivity levels through staff planning, recruitment, training and development and on-going communication including performance reviews and career development discussions
  • Oversee general office administration including payroll, scheduling, lost and found, ordering supplies and inventory control, including uniforms
  • Daily monitoring of labour, expenses, and preparation of monthly reports
  • Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times and that all employees are committed to working safely
  • Ensure that all WCB Claims are reported to the Human Resources Manager, handled promptly, and effectively and manage the Return to Work program
  • Foster an environment of open communication and creative problem solving • Ensure high productivity levels – innovation and creativity is key
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Houskeeping leadership position with proven training and team building skills
  • Flexible with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, able to make decisions and empower employees • Must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills – sets the example for “team”
  • Proactive with a meticulous eye for detail – standards oriented
  • Must be highly health and safety conscious and actively involved in enhancing workplace wellness
  • Class 5 Driver’s Licence with cleaning driving record

Room Attendants
