After successfully completing a course in the UK, A Graduate visa gives you permission to stay in the UK for at least 2 years.

To be eligible for the Graduate Visa you must

You are in the UK
You are on a Student visa or Tier 4 General student visa
You studied a bachelor’s degree, postgraduate degree or other eligible course in the UK for a minimum period of time on your student visa or Tier 4 General student visa
Your education provider has informed you that you have successfully completed your course.

How long is the visa for
The Graduate visa will be given for 2 years. If you have a PHD or other doctoral qualification, it will be for 3 years.

The visa will start from the day the application is approved.

When to apply
You are required to apply before your Student visa expires.

You can apply after your education provider has informed you that you’ve successfully completed the course you enrolled for. You do not need to wait until you have graduated or have been given a certificate.
