Short Term Study Visa
Short term study visa in UK is a visa given to individual who wants to take up a course for English language lasting longer than 6 months and up to 11 months.
You can stay in the UK up to the length of the course plus an extra 30 days as long as the course does not exceed 11 months.
Eligibility:
You have to be over 16 to be eligible as a candidate that can apply to get endorsed in the Institute.
Your course should be in with an accredited Institute.
You should have enough at your disposal that could give the government acceptance that you have funds to take care of yourself.
The course that you will take.
The English language course should be off of an accredited Institute.
This can be either
An accredited UK Institute
An eligible overseas provider, if one already is studying in the UK pursuing an degree, he can take up a English course provided by a provider which is outside of your Institute.

If your education is going on in a overseas Institute and part of your English course is in the UK in an accredited Institute then you can attain a short term visa to come to the UK and finish up the course.
What you cannot do:
Take up another course.
Do some business
Extending the visa
Cannot bring family members
Cannot apply for public state benefits and public funds.
