GENERAL LABOURER

LOCATION: Vancouver

 

DUTIES

  • Keeping the construction site safe, clean, and tidy
  • Disinfecting high touch points
  • Assisting skilled labourers on site
  • Following instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks (digging)
  • Handling and transporting materials around the site

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 20lbs)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Showcasing strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Able to follow instructions by effectively communicating in English
  • Demonstrates reliability and good time management

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • 24/7 availability may be required, overtime will be paid accordingly
  • Travel to off-site locations may be required.
  • Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
  • Hazards associated with the trade.
  • Work both indoors in confined spaces and outdoors
  • Clean, warm work clothes (jeans, long sleeves, hoodies, etc.).
