What are the Benefits of Au Pairing in Italy?

  • As part of our Au Pair in Italy program, you will be given the opportunity to live in Italy with a host family whilst you take on the roll of caring for the children of the family. You will also be entitled to all of the fantastic benefits listed below:

Available Programs

Au pair in Italy (up to 30 hours per week)

Demi Au Pair in Italy (20/25 hours per week)

This program will mean you spend half your time in Italy as an Au Pair and the other half as a student. This course will be a minimum of 12 weeks long and it is essential that you have at least a B1 qualification in English

English Tutor in Italy (to tutor host family for up to 15 hours per week) 

Requirements

·       Must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years old

·       Received an education at GCSE level or above

·       Be in good physical and mental health

·       Be able to pass a criminal background check

·       Have experience working with children

·       Flexible schedule

Required Documents

  • A completed registration form
  • Au pair agreement (signed)
  • Introduction letter
  • one photo-collage or video
  • 2 childcare references
  • Other relevant references if possible
  • Medical certificate
  • Any allergies/dietary requirements must be mentioned on the registration form
  • Police report checked
  • Passport if necessary
  • Visa when needed

Cost Breakdown

As part of our Au Pair in the Italy program, a fee of £420 (486 euro) will be required. This will cover our administrative and management fee to handle your application from start to finish, including undergoing regular visits whilst you are living with your host family to ensure you are settling in well.

Guide to Starting your Journey as an Au Pair in Italy

Step 1: Fill out our Application Form

Fill out our online application form and be sure to provide any additional documents and information when prompted

Step 2: Pay for your Application Fee

If you have completed our application form and you are eligible for one of your programs, we will ask you to provide further documents and pay for the application fee at this stage in the process.

Step 3: Finding you a Host Family

Once your application is complete, interviews between yourselves and possible host families will be conducted either over the phone or over video chat. These interviews will allow both parties to get to know the other to help determine whether they would be a good match. Once a match has been found, an agreement will need to be signed by your host family and contract will be given to both parties.

Step 4: Booking your Flight!

Once you are paired up with a suitable host family, it is time to take the next step and book your flight to Italy! But don't panic as we will still be here to guide and support you every step of the way.
