You can travel to America to work for up to four months during your Uni summer holidays. We help you get a job, sponsorship and support you through the process. 

It is not possible to apply for the J-1 Visa independently, it requires to be done through a US approved organisation. The location of your university is important rather than your country of citizenship.

• You must be between 18 to 30 years old
• Any nationality studying in the UK/Ireland
• Enrolled in a full time academic day course in a recognised university or college.
• Commit to the full summer season of the J1 employer (8-21 weeks from June to August
• Have a passport valid for six months beyond your stay 
• Have a onward flight 
• Have proof of supporting funds of USD 800 in the form of bank statement

All the jobs are in popular holiday locations like Cape Cod, Myrtle Beach, Long Island, New York, Ocean City, Boston, Chicago, LA and San Diego.

Visualise all those summer jobs you see in the movies, poolside, courtside or running beach, country club and beach resorts. Think of hospitality, tourism and retail. 

You need to have a job before you travel to the states, working 32 hours a week from mid June to early September.

Earliest you can start searching, apply and interviewing is form October.  The placement and vis process can take 3-4 months.   

Every job will at least has to pay the minimum wage and can range from USD 13 to 18 per hour. Often you get tips on top too.
