1.Tofino, British Columbia 

Tofino is a small town off the West Coast of Canada, part of Vancouver Island and only a 45 minute flight from Vancouver. This nature-lover’s oasis is perfect for anyone who loves surfing, fishing, hiking, whale-watching or camping. It offers unmissable views of the Pacific Ocean and the emerald- green forests of the Pacific Rim National Park. There’s also exceptional dining options as Tofino is home to many culinary professionals and chefs. The town is seeped in charm and beauty during both it’s peak and off-peak time ,during colder months. With many festivals such as the Annual Pacific Rim Whale Festival ,which celebrates the migration of thousands of grey whales during March, Tofino is worth your journey! 

2.Banff National Park, Alberta. 

Established in 1885, Banff is Canada’s oldest and largest national park – famous for its pristine lakes, majestic mountains and rich pine forests Banff National Park is a sight to behold. The town of Banff is perfect for adventurers as there are many beautiful chateau-style hotels where you could reside in, amongst 6500 square kilometres of parkland which is also home to diverse wildlife. 

3.Niagara Falls Waterfalls, Ontario 

Niagara Falls is no secret or secluded travel destination, and for a good reason! Niagara Falls consists of 3 breathtaking waterfalls to visit: Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. There are many amazing excursions you can take part in to experience the Falls; for example the White Water Walk or zipline-which are perfect for thrill- seekers! 

4. Haida Gwaii, British Columbia  

Also known as the Queen Charlotte islands this remote paradise is amazingly diverse in its’ wildlife, you can spot black bears, deer and different species of the magnificent eagle. Aswell as sea creature such as whales, otters and seals. Many recommend hiring a car and visiting this beautiful archipelago during May- for a peaceful stay at one of their beautiful fishing lodges. 

5.Quebec City, Quebec 

Quebec City sits on the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec Province, it is an architectural dream, with narrow cobbled streets lined with bistros and boutiques, as well as towering stone buildings. As the only region in America with a French speaking majority, Quebec City is characterised by its quaint French charm and unique dishes, such as Poutine and Pea Soup. 

6.Prince Edward Island 

This maritime Island off New Brunswick and Novia Scotia is home to vast stretches of ruby red sand beaches which will have you questioning whether you’ve landed on Mars! It is renowned for seafood such as mussels and lobsters, as well as the awe-inspiring Victorian government buildings in its capital – Charlottetown. 

 

7.Annapolis Valley, Novia Scotia 

Located along the Western part of the Nova Scotia peninsula, Annapolis valley is a surreal agricultural region, with plenty of expansive meadows, orchards and breath-taking fields. Its town is known to be a creative hub which is paradise for writers and artists, inspiring the population of their town to create. It’s a perfect peaceful getaway! 

8.Newfoundland and Labrador 

Newfoundland and Labrador forms the most Easternly province of Canada, with miles of untouched wilderness, this is one of the most amazing places to view the Northern Lights! During the winter you could hire a snowmobile and travel through trails of 1500 kilometres with the spectacular aurora borealis dancing above you. If you are lucky enough to visit during the summer, venture to Torngat Mountains National Park and immerse yourself in dramatic and unique geology which was formed 4 billion years ago- an unmissable experience!

The Kooteney Rockies’ Yoho National Park is named after the Cree word for ‘awe’, which is no surprise once you see the magnificent glass waters and vivid mountain scenery that Yoho offers.
