Permanent Visas

A permanent visa will allow you to live permanently in the country of your choice. This is usually for an indefinite period which will allow you to achieve the status of a permanent resident.

This permanent status will then enable you to take up work and live in the country. Permanent residency can be obtained through a variety of different visas such as skilled, long term work visas and spousal/family visas.

Australia

Australian Skilled Nominated Visa (subclass 190)

Skilled Nominated Visa (subclass 190) is aimed at workers with relevant work experience and/or qualifications which are in demand in one of Australia’s states or territories. Read more here

Australian Skilled Independent visa (Subclass 189)

The Australian Skilled – Independent Visa (subclass 189) is an Australian skilled visa for skilled workers who are not sponsored by an employer, a state or territory, or a family member. Australian Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa (subclass 489)

Australian skilled regional (provisional) visa (subclass 489) is a state/territory sponsored visa for skilled workers. Applicants are required to have work experience and or qualifications in an occupation which is in shortage in one of the states or territories in Australia. Spouses, unmarried partners and dependent children are able to accompany the main applicants on this visa. Read more here

Canada

Canadian Express Entry Federal skilled worker visa

The Express Entry Federal Skilled Worker Visa is for individuals looking to relocate to Canada to live and work for a few years or on a permanent basis.
